Air Conditioning and Other Stuff

So a week ago we got a new car! It's a 2004 Hyundai Accent. The best thing about it? IT HAS AIR CONDITIONING! This means: I can actually do my hair and not have it completely ruined and turned into a rat's nest, I know longer have sweat dripping from every inch of my body, and I'm not hot!

As for how I'm holding up on the baby front- I'm doing relatively good. I haven't had to deal with too much sickness other than when I'm hungry. The thing that has been really hard lately is anxiety. Since I am pregnant I cannot take the medicine I usually take for anxiety and depression. As our big move gets closer and closer I get more and more anxious. Anxiety does weird things to your body, not to mention what pregnancy does! So, we would appreciate all the prayers we can get right now! We know that if we get through this next year with moving to PA (where the nearest family is 12 hours away), Ben's first year of law school, and having this baby (all without medicine :/) we will be able to accomplish anything!

On a happier front, yesterday we did yardwork all day, yay! And my legs are sure feeling it today! Ben and my Dad were troopers- they stayed out longer than any of the girls. We ended the night by eating Burger King and watching The Next Three Days.

My tummy seems to be getting bigger every morning I wake up. Can you see the little bump? Sorry for the busy backrgound.
And guess what? I found more pictures of things I forgot to blog about!

Things I have Neglected to Blog about...

This post is basically going to be a catch up picture post. Starting back in May. For my brother's birthday we went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner. They made him sit on a saddle while they sang happy birthday to him.

Here are some other things we have been up to this summer.
Ben has been reading.... alot.

And last night, thanks to the genorosity of one of my best friend's (Kate Kelly) Dad (Greg Rogers) Ben and I got to go to the Days of 47 Rodeo! It was fun! I was quite a bit anxious the whole time but luckily all of those crazy cowboys lived. Here are the events we watched :)
Steer Wrestling

Wild Dairy Cow Milking- first time I had even HEARD of this event.

Barrel racing

bareback bronc riding

team roping

Bull riding

Well... that's about it!

The Blue Crew grew...

So, if you missed the memo... I'm pregnant! I'm about 9.5 weeks and doing pretty good. This week has been an easier one. I have been a little sick, a lot of being tired about 24/7, and I even lost 4 pounds, ha ha. I don't think I will be losing anymore... I'm thinking it's starting to go in the opposite direction, but whatever, it's for baby right? Bring on the Chick-fil-a and Quiznos! Those have been the 2 places that ALWAYS sound good to me (that and baked pretzels and nacho cheese), as a matter of fact I'm trying to convince Ben to take me to one of those places for dinner tonight. I got to see the baby, and hear their heartbeat when I was 7/8 weeks! Unfortunately it was because I was at the ER for kidney stones and dehydration (2 bags of IV fluid baby! No pun intended...). The heartbeat was SOOOOOO cool! Ben has been very good and patient with me and my pregnancy... behaviors/quirks/cravings/non-cravings/moods. We are both SO excited for this little baby to enter our lives in February! We are going to have Pennsylvania baby! Wahoo!
As far as other stuff we have been up to, it's not too eventful. We celebrated my Mom's birthday, which is when we told my family we were expecting. We gave her two books with the title "Grandma and Me" of the sorts. It was great- a total shock to everyone. The 4th of July was kind of poopy because I was feeling really sick and crappy that day. That was a bad week. But yesterday Ben and I went to 7 peaks! It was a bunch of fun. It was the first time we had been "swimming" for the whole summer. On a side note, being pregnant and traveling 30 minutes to work, and 30 minutes home from work with no air conditioning is pretty much death. That is why we finally went swimming!
