Father's Day

Father's Day was a great day! I woke up and took care of James in the morning, then made breakfast. I made Ben waffles, bacon and scrambled eggs! He also got a nice frosty glass of orange juice. In my family for Mother's Day and Father's Day we put a nice glass in the freezer while we make breakfast, then we pour juice in it and looks really cool and frosty/foggy. We also had chocolate milk, mmmm. Anyways, I put all of it on a tray and brought Ben breakfast in bed. He loved it, and we both got really full. Then it was time for presents!
I loved the bag!

Saw this on pinterest... of course. I also watched a video on youtube on how to tie a tie so I could tie the ribbon :)

Dad and Quail Man!

We ended the day with Rootbeer floats! Tradition in Ben's family, which I think we will keep!
I love Ben, and think he is the best daddy for our little guy. He really is the best!

James is 4 Months Old!

James is now 4 Months old! Here are the stats from his last doctors appt:

Height: 25.75in (76th percentile)
Weight: 14lbs 4.4oz (25th percentile)
As the nurse said, he is tall and thin! He is doing great! He got some shots, which he did not  like! He cried a lot after he got them, but he was great the rest of the day!

Some other things James enjoys these days:

- rolling over. He can roll from his back to his tummy, and his tummy to his back! It is so cute. If he is on the floor all he does is roll around, haha.
- he loves playing with his rings
- he LOVES playing with daddy. He is the only one that can make him laugh a real laugh.

"Where's James?"

There he is!

Arrrg. It's Bubble Beard!

Hanging out with Mr. Binky Head!

We love him so much!

Strawberry Fields Forever...

Today we had the opportunity to go to Way Fruit Farm in Port Matilda, and pick strawberries! We went with our friends the Bennetts. However, by the time we got there most of the strawberries had been picked over. Apparently it's better if you go in the morning... oops. That's okay, we still had fun and even got some strawberries! Ben was a very devoted picker. I just held baby James and took pictures :) It was really hot out so we put the babies on a blanket in the shade for part of it. They had a blast of course. Overall it was fun to get out and be in the sun for a little bit.
Just woke up from a nap

Don't worry, we got more...

Hangin out in the shade making the husbands fetch us strawberries... :)

Like their matching hats?

Say Whaat?

"Oh hey James"

"Nice hat!"

"Looks really familiar..."

"Thief! You stole my hat!" Silly Carter...

Carter's hair was blowing in the wind...

Carter kept trying to grab James' ear

"Hey there buddy!"

my strawberry picker

We stripped him down to help him cool off. So cute :)
