What's Up

We have just been trying to get back into the swing of things this fine new year. Ben started school (his last semester EVER!) and it is going to be adjustment getting used to not having him around all day again. I'm trying to figure out how to be a mom of 2 again... and it feels like it is harder this semester than last. BUT- there are a few reasons why.
Right when we got back from Utah, James and Theo got sick. For a week, it just didn't seem like James was getting better and he had a fever. So I took him to the doctor and it turned out he had an ear infection! His first one. I was so happy! There was a reason why he was being monster and not eating anything. Seriously. He wasn't eating hardly anything.
We think he is also getting his 2 year old molars as well.  Theo is teething too. At least we hope so. We have had some cranky boys this past week. This past week has been kinda rough. But today James actually had a good day! We are all still recovering from our trip and trying to get back on a schedule. We will figure something out eventually.
Here are a few new exciting things.
- James has stopped drooling! There were quite a few times in Utah I would look at him and be like, he looks different. Oh, his chin is dry! Then this past week he just hasn't drooled! It's a miracle! We are so happy the things we were working on with him paid off!
- James has about 40-50 works/phrases now! His favorite thing to do lately is roar. He discovered Tigers and Lions and that they roar. He will go in front of a mirror and roar at himself. It is so cute.

I got him to eat Grilled Cheese by putting a thin layer of nutella on it. His reward? Chocolate pudding! With amoxicilin mixed in. muah ha ha ha. (for his ear infection... we don't just drug our kids)
