Okay, so it was only 30 cent bowl, and a horse and a donkey... I just wanted to get your attention. This past weekend (the 13th), we got invited to dinner by the Leavitts, a family in our ward. They are both lawyers and so they were wanting to talk with Ben and see if they could help him, give him advice etc. They have a beautiful home, and I just
knew that James was going to get in trouble some how.
Everyone was sitting around the table eating and chatting, and I noticed James was missing.
"Where is James?" I asked. We called his name hoping to hear little footsteps running around somewhere, or for him to come running back into the dining room. We heard nothing. So a few of us wandered around looking for him. Then, one of their daughters found him upstairs trying to climb the stairs up to the attic. We went back to the table and to our conversations and a few minutes later we hear a huge crash and something thumping down the stairs. I knew it was James. He had chucked a ceramic bowl down their stairs, which broke (obviously...). Luckily it was a 30 cent bowl from a Subway in Ukraine that was being used as their dog's water bowl. Whew! They had lots of nice pieces of art in their home. I'm glad James only managed to find the dog bowl. Also, we are thankful that it wasn't James himself tumbling down the stairs.
After that James only managed to thrown a bunch of toys over the fire grate. Don't worry, luckily he did it to the one that didn't have a fire going. Crazy boy!

This is the part about the wild stallions, aka the horse and donkey. On a walk at Tudek park, we stopped to pet the horse and donkey... and feed them a few hand fulls of weeds.

 |
| Yup. Way too close for comfort. |
 |
| James had a really rough day this day. Every slide he went down was a fail. He got twisted around and almost head dived off a few, then on another one he got twisted and his back got caught on the edge of the slide, and got a nice little burn/scrape on his back. Later as Ben was about to get him out of his chair for a bath, he took a quick drink, and it ended up dripping all over james's head. Poor guy. |
Well, you are all now up to date on the Van Noy's!
