Our car also had some other issues... but we got it fixed yesterday! So now our car doesn't make embarrassing squeaking and grinding noises. It's great. On Thursday I made an AMAZING soup! I got the recipe from my old roommate Becky. It is a Butternut Squash soup, and it is the best kind of butternut squash soup I have EVER had. Seriously, if you want the recipe, just ask me. :-)
Ben got his diploma! He is official now! Wahoo! He now has a Bachelor's degree in Political Science AND Chinese.
Last night we went over to a couple in our ward- The Bennett's- for dinner and games! Aaron (the husband) is in the Physics Ph.D. program at Penn State, and Shandee (the wife) is pregnant (like me!)! Although she is due in December (yes, I'm jealous). It was a lot of fun, and it was nice to make new friends!
Now for my project this week! I made a bolster! I got the tutorial here. It was my first time making piping, and I think I did a pretty dang good job! Check it out-
| Isn't it pretty? |
| This shows the stitching I added into the fabric... not sure I'm totally sold on it, but it's fine. |
